VACLAV TREFIL (Czech, 1906-1989)

Czechoslovakian painter and illustrator. Pupil of Professor Otakar Nejedly at the Prague Academy Of Fine Arts. During this period he painted still lifes and landscapes from his field trips to France, Italy, Corsica and Germany. Later, painted figural and abtract compositions.
